Our ISSMA Preview Concert for the community is on Thursday, April 8 @ 7:00 PM in the TLHS Auditorium. Most likely the 6th Grade Band will attend the ISSMA Concert Band Contest on Friday, April 9 and the 7th & 8th Grade Band on Saturday, April 10. Definite times and dates will be available later in March. All parents, family and friends are welcome to attend the concert band contest at Clinton Prairie HS.
Every band member has to complete a playing test over each piece of contest music. Mr. Boyer will be handing out those assignments in class. Test #2 is due by March 5. Test #3 is due by March 11. Practice Sheet #11 is due Friday, March 12.
Congratulations RMS on a fantasic job by everyone at Solo and Ensemble Contest. RMS received 51 GOLD ratings and 6 SILVER ratings. Do you have old electronic gadgets laying around at home or work that you no longer use? The web site gazelle.com not only buys back old, used gadgets, but will provide you with shipping materials and shipping costs. Non-profit organizations such as the RMS Band can receive the financial contribution from your returned gadget.
Simply go to http://rmsbands.gazelle.com/ and offer up your old gadgets. Obviously, the better condition your gadget is in, the more likely the appraisal would be. Gazelle will let you know how much your gadget is worth. Upon receiving your gadget they will then forward the money to the RMS Band. We will use that money for music, supplies, etc. This will be a great addition to the poinsettia fundraiser.
Please consider taking advantage of this service for both you and the RMS Band!

The RMS Band ISSMA Preview Concert originally scheduled for April 7 has been rescheduled for April 8. This will avoid a RMS Track meet. Our concert begins @ 7:00 PM in the HS auditorium.
