Practice Sheets
Practice sheet #1 has been handed out to all 6th and 7th graders. Sixth and seventh grade band students are expected to practice one hour a week. Eighth graders are also expected to practice, but do not have to turn in practice sheets. The assignments section of our site now has practice sheet #1 available for download.
All 6th graders have a playing test on Friday. This first playing test will be a practice test in which every student will receive a 100% as long as the test has been taken. After this playing test, all others will be graded for accuracy.
Mr. Boyer will begin sizing students for their polo shirts in September. All 6th graders will need to purchase one as this is part of our band uniform for performances throughout the year. 7th and 8th graders may purchase another one if theirs has become to small, lost or damaged. Boys shirts will cost $17, girls shirts will cost $22. Mr. Boyer will send home more information about this later in the month.
